HF Ocean Radar for Ｃurrent Ｍeasurement in Sagami Bay

　The Hydrographic and Oceanographic Department, Japan Coast Guard, started the operation of the high resolution HF (High Frequency) Radar to measure current between Izu-Oshima Island and Arasaki in Sagami Bay area from August 2002. The high resolution HF Radars are able to map currents with space resolution of 1.5km( coverage ).
